Our Story
Back in the summer of 1998, Debbie and Murray Shepherd and Jeremy Sharpe, having previously worked together in the property industry and become good friends, hatched a plan to start their own estate agency in Penarth, a town they knew well, which had a great sense of community and offered huge potential.
Shortly afterwards in January 1999, having found the perfect premises in Penarth town centre, Shepherd Sharpe opened their doors for the first time with nothing to sell but a smile, enthusiasm and a desire to offer something new to the Penarth property market.
Our aim? Simply, to change how residential property was bought, sold, and let. And to make moving home a more easy and enjoyable experience.
We never looked back, we soon became established in the town and recognised for our innovative and refreshing different approach. We were the first to embrace and recognise the importance of the emerging internet, being the first to have a website and a touch screen in the window!
Today, 21 years on, we still love what we do; always matching the right people with the right home.
